Owners Narie Preston & Mark Cousins are hands on when it comes to picking, sorting and processing the crop.

Capers direct from the farm!

Farm fresh capers and caperberries take an extraordinary amount of time, care and preparation.

Capers are all hand picked as they are too delicate for machinery to handle.

Capers have a unique flavour that is pleasantly sharp & quite appetizing. They add a subtle zest and pungency that can be utilised to brighten up many dishes.

Capers have many health benefits

Capers are rich in antioxidants, which are compounds that can neutralize harmful free radicals to prevent cell damage . Some research also indicates that antioxidants may reduce inflammation and protect against chronic conditions like heart disease, cancer, and type 2 diabetes

Whether a one-off pack or a recurring subscription, you too can dine on the same premium quality capers that we supply to many of the finest restaurants in Australia

Narie & Mark are hands on farmers waking at the crack of dawn each day to tend the crop. The crop is hand picked and sorted then taken to the processing plant near by.

Bealiba caper farm has been established for many years and during busy times employs extra help where needed. Prior to packaging every caper is inspected for quality with only the finest capers passing quality control. As each caper is hand picked from the outset the quality control begins there.

Narie & Mark have a fun outlook on life, loving the outdoor lifestyle and the fresh country mornings. They grow the bulk of their own veggies and spices expanding their passion and buying a caper farm that also produces olives.

Cooking is another passion both Narie and Mark share creating head turning recipes using capers as the star ingredient. As part of the fun Wot’s Ya Capers would like you to send your favorite recipe using capers. We will cook and taste your recipe and with your permission post on site if we love it as much as you do!
